GREEN WORKS ORLANDO COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN
This 56 page document outlines the city’s progress over the past 5 years, and outlines a plan of success for the future. It includes initiatives the city is doing, along with information for residents to discover programming available for them through the city or partner organizations.
It introduces new strategies and best practices to help us further advance toward the 2040 goals; and incorporates new overarching themes of social equity, climate resiliency and smart technology and innovation as a guiding framework for more advanced sustainability.
Finally, this updated action plan is one of the first in America to both inform and align its strategies with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in order to advance critical global efforts.
Materials were created for social media, presentations, and additional handouts. Pins were given to steak holders the day the plan was voted on and approved in City Council.
